North Ainslie Primary School is proud to be home to a diverse multicultural community who come from over 22 different countries, and speak over 35 different languages.
Within the school we have support for students who have English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D). Our classroom teachers use a range of strategies to support English language learners to develop skills in speaking and writing in English, and learn to read for meaning in all key learning areas.
We have an Introductory English Centre (IEC) on site which supports children from the network of schools nearby for whom English is a new language. You can find our more about our IEC here IEC Link
